The Kodak Playsport HD Pocket Camcorder is the newest camcorder from Kodak that provides high definition, and waterproof capabilities up to 10 feet.
Reviews are in and people agree that the underwater capability is top notch, especially for the price. This camcorder as its name says is meant for people on the go and out playing whether its sports or outdoors adventures. The playsport provides quick start up time to capture the moment, and records in awesome full HD quality.
It also has a 5 Megapixel camera taking jpg still shots. The only issue noted is it only takes 16:9 widescreen photos, which is not the normal format for still shots, and means you will have to crop for regular printed photos. For many, though this widescreen feature is a cool feature rather than a hindrance.
People love the sun glare shield feature that allows you to view the LCD while you shoot no matter the lighting condition.
Image stabilization removes blur even on action shots, and uploading to your favorite site is an easy one point click operation.
